Optional Project: T-shirt Logo Design Contest
This project is optional, but may be used to determine a winner in the event of an overall tie and medals will be awarded to the team with the best project.
The Environmental Science Education Cooperative (ESEC) would like to introduce students to the environment through artistic design. This project is to engage, educate, and motivate students to learn and love the elements of the environment around them. This is your opportunity to learn about water resources, conservation efforts, wildlife protection, forest ecology, renewable energy, green infrastructure, hydropower, microorganisms, or anything else related to environmental science through designing a t-shirt logo that may be used at NEXT YEAR’S Eco-Meet! For this project, you and your Eco-Meet teammates will design an all-black line drawing logo for the back of a t-shirt. This logo needs to include “CSRA-ESEC” in the logo. This stands for Central Savannah River Area – Environmental Science Education Cooperative. Include elements of the CSRA region in the line drawing, such a river, an endangered or protected species that lives in the area. You can use whatever design tools you have access to such as Paint, Canva, Publisher, etc. to create your logo, use this example below as a guideline to how simple your logo needs to be. After creation of the logo, please format the image into both PDF and jpeg to submit them for the optional project.
